Description
Cochinita pibil is a traditional Mexican slow-roasted pork dish from the Yucatán Peninsula. It is roasted while it is wrapped in banana leaf. We prepare the traditional cochinita by marinating the meat in citrus juice (for at least 24 hours); season it with oregano, and annatto seed (achiote) which imparts a vivid burnt orange color. These tacos are topped with purple pickled onions. Order comes with four tacos.
